Music is fun. That's what Paravane is all about. The duo comprised of Steve Weicksel and Ben Blakesley formed at the University of New Hampshire in 2001 after both solo artists got together for an impromptu jam session. The relationship has since cultivated to become one of the most fun and exciting live music experiences in the northeast.
From their intensely personal originals to tongue in cheek covers, Paravane provides their audience with a musical happening that cannot be matched. "It's so funny because we have such different musical styles, but share many common influences so we really play off each other well," says Ben.
"It's great when you can go up on stage and just have fun and have the audience feel what you feel."
